Trespassers Will Be Shot. Survivors Will Be Shot Again
" Trial and error. P.South. I never played FFX and then when i saw skill tree i spent 5 hours looking at it and trying to sympathize what can i practice with information technology. I did put a single betoken in a skill tree until i finally got some idea how my char should await like. Also thing to note is this is close beta. There will bhe wipe at the cease and yous should apply this time to experiment as much as you can. Trespassers volition be shot survivors will be shot once more! |

" All the good ol' response. You practice not dissapoint. " Thats my point. I am in beta experimenting and have been playing RPG games for 20 years. What of the people who only come in on release? Experiement, re-curlicue, or die? The face of gaming has inverse my friend. |

" i was a new player once.. (hell i all the same am) and you know what.. it didnt discourage me.. just because i played in the beta doesnt mean jack. everyone has to commencement somewhere, doesnt matter if you beginning in airtight beta, open beta, or launch.. when i started, i had to learn this stuff, and when the next guy starts.. he has to learn the stuff too. do people that participate in the closed beta take a caput offset on the people who started in retail or open beta? of course they do.. people who also get to schoolhouse for 10+ years to get a masters or doctorate accept a caput start on someone who's in their start couple years.. its just the style the world works... yous cant simply jump in and expect to know it all, yous build the knowledge equally you play, when you brand a mistake, yous learn from it (hopefully) and in the future you dont make those mistakes again. Things with "increased" and "decreased" in the tooltip are additive ... where as "More" or "Less" are multiplicative ... Concluding edited by wade001 on Aug 1, 2012, 9:33:04 PM |

" The point was that during beta you are aware that everything is going to be wiped so you don't care about making mistakes or experimenting. Once the game goes live, having to re-curlicue or making a 'fault' that forces a re-roll interferes with the leveling process peculiarly when leveling with friends. All that is fine, yay, old school game, hard choice, adapt or be eaten. woot! Just saying that to someone coming in and seeing it all for the first time when the game is live and option mean something it will be overwhelming if you don't have an like shooting fish in a barrel out for those get-go mistakes. " Yea i know is kind of retarded reply to give, but its the fact. I dont eat some types of vegetables considering my digestive organisation cant handle it. (non really but its an example). Younger players are getting spoiled because things might be hard to do or would take time to do, and then why non give them lvl100 chars from start, with all-time gear and enough skill points to make full the whole tree. I might sound mad or irritated, but i am not. I would simply wish for ppl not simplify games just for the sake of new players. Permit them larn something on their own. And if they are really lazy to test and experiment permit them at least browse forums for all-time solution. The reason why this games skill tree is great is because when you leave the game you lot can still "play" it, by planning, thinking... thinking is not a bad matter, and if ppl with work can detect time to play this game as information technology is intended to be played i dont encounter why wouldnt the young ones who have more gratuitous time. EDIT: An idea. Put huge text in red in skill tree proverb: Practise NOT PLACE A SINGLE POINT UNTIL Y'all ARE Certain! Trespassers will be shot survivors will be shot again! As I said in my first point all my side of the argument might be for nothing because the free respec points and the orbs of regret and so long as they aren't too hard to come by. |

I'one thousand doing trial and error. This game has got almost all of my gaming attention. so if i mess upwardly and merely try to re-route to give me the best option of how to better optimize my grapheme. i wasted my respecs because i didnt really understand what it meant....i idea it meant they were available to place into the skill tree :( My Life For Aiur! |

" Yea 100% behind this, respec was HORRIBLE for D2! it seemed like a skillful affair, but in the cease it was very bad for game play. and would exist worse in PoE. someone could invest in the "quick payoff" skills early and so when up several levels they could simply switch out to the keystones or "bigger" passives without making whatsoever sacrifice. once this respec game gets going then you punish people who don't use it. Too, for HC this is a big deal. One of the few nice things about dying in HC is you get the risk to rebuild and correct mistakes or choose a different approach - with easy respecs all that happens is another level grind to become back to where you were before… and that feels empty. No "character" to your graphic symbol. |

Just endeavour and meet what you like. If you lot do non like it, beginning over, and try some other build (the game is not released however, so there can exist a lot more than on it'south style :P). Thats what i similar about this game. The HUGE skill tree. You lot tin can choose your path. Terminal edited by Desphex on Aug 1, 2012, 9:52:45 PM |
